India has succesful lift off its spacecraft mission towards sun after successful landing of spacecraft chandrayaan - 3 on southpole of moon 10 days ago . The PSLV - XL (launch carrier) - carry spacecraft Aditya L-1 which weighing over 3264 pound take off from Shri Harikota (Indias South Space Center ). To reach its destination it will cover a distance of 932,000 miles and spend more than months(125 days)
In January 26, 2024 Aditya L1 successfully accomplished Halo-Orbit insertion at 16 :00 (IST) on 26 January, 2024.
Halo orbit which is located roughly 1.5 million km from earth on the continuously moving Sun. This orbit provides a smooth Sun-spacecraft velocity change throughout the orbit and this accomplishment gives continuous communication to ground stations, unobstructed, continuous observation of the Sun.
