New Echo Speakers and Alexa Home Theater

Amazon finally refreshed its Echo lineup after years of silence. The Echo Dot Max ($100) and Echo Studio 2025 ($220) both arrive on October 29 with improved bass, spatial audio, and Dolby Atmos support. The Echo Dot Max features a high-excursion woofer and custom tweeter for richer sound, while the downsized Echo Studio still packs powerful, room-filling audio.
A new Alexa Home Theater feature lets you connect up to five Echo speakers to a Fire TV Stick for immersive surround sound with automatic room tuning.
Echo Show Smart Displays

The Echo Show 8 ($180) and Echo Show 11 ($220) ship November 12 with upgraded stereo speakers, better microphones, and 13MP cameras. These smart displays now recognize individual users, providing personalized updates and AI-powered summaries of Ring camera footage. They also support Zigbee, Matter, and Thread for seamless smart home control.
Kindle Scribe Colorsoft and Upgraded Scribe

Amazon introduced the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft ($630), its first full-color writing tablet featuring a custom color display, enhanced rendering engine, and up to ten pen colors for notes and drawings. The new Fire TV Stick 4K Select ($40) supports HDR10+ and Alexa+ voice controls, shipping next month. Amazon also launched brighter Omni QLED Series TVs (starting at $480) with adaptive color tuning and presence detection, as well as faster 2-Series Fire TVs (from $160). The Linux-based Vega OS is debuting on Fire TV devices this October for faster, more efficient performance.
